Our N-3 Mod Utility Chore Coat is inspired by the U.S. Navy N-3 Utility Chore Coat which was designed in the 1940s as part of the Navy’s cold weather clothing layering system. Our Deck Jacket is very closely modeled on a U.S. Navy Extreme Cold Weather Deck Jacket first manufactured by Alpha in the 1970s. Utility jackets typically feature several external pockets, ideal for storing your phone, keys, wallet, and other belongings. They’re also generally made from durable materials fit for everyday wear, like cotton or nylon.
