This Alpha MA-1 flight jacket features squadron patches from the 303rd Fighter Squadron “KC Hawgs”. Located at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, the 303rd fly the Fairchild-Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II. Also known as the A-10 Warthog, this single seat, twin engine, straight wing jet was developed for the U. S. Air Force in 1976 and is still in use today. It is the only production-built aircraft used by the USAF solely for close air support of ground troops.
