Ways to Wear: L-2B Hooded Flight Jacket
3/15/2017 9:11:00 AM

Marcia Alvarado, a structural engineer and menswear influencer, provided the structural design of the Air Traffic Control Tower for the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland, Florida and shows her personal style of the L-2B Hooded Flight Jacket for the lighter Floridian seasons. Currently in Tampa, Florida, Marcia’s love for aviation started at birth with two parents in the United States Air Force. Emotional excitement became a natural experience at the annual air shows that her family attended on the military bases. Her spirit took over again as she started working in the Federal and Aviation market in the construction industry. The Air Traffic Control Tower opened on April 2016 preceding the Sun-n-Fun International Fly-in & Expo, which is second largest event of its kind in the world.

The L-2B Hooded Flight Jacket provides the sense of thrill aviation flight can bring in your world, whatever your level of passion. The lightweight jacket is perfect for the mild fall and winter seasons. Marcia’s personal style has always been more masculine-presenting, and here’s how she styles the L-2B Hooded Flight Jacket.

Look #1 - My everyday style is truly that of a dappered gentleman, and that’s why I have kept it classic with a white button down, a knit black tie, and dark denim jeans with a pair of comfy dark sneakers. This day-into-night look will always make you the most memorable in a room.

Look #2 - Enjoying the year-round sun in Florida. This casual look, with white sneakers, pair of chinos and flower-patterned shirts is always at my fingertips for the weekend.

Look #3 - When it does get a little chilly (aka 50 degrees), us Floridians grab versatile and lightweight layers. Here I have paired the L-2B Hooded Flight Jacket with my trusted maroon hoodie and a pair of white jeans and grey boots.
