November 2014:

On November 11, 2014, the United States celebrated Veterans' Day.  On this holiday many people, including veterans, traveled to our nation's capital to visit the monuments that commemorate the brave soldiers who fought in wars such as World War II, Korean and Vietnam. Flags and wreaths of flowers are often laid by the memorials as symbols of rememberance and gratitude. Some take rubbings of the names of family members or fellow servicemen that have been engraved on the walls. Take a look at some of the moving images from the day.
