On July 4th Americans across the country will gather at BBQs, picnics, parades and fireworks to celebrate the 239th birthday of the United States of America and to show our appreciation for all the freedoms we enjoy today. This U.S. federal holiday commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain. Just a year later, in 1777, the colonies honored their new status by adopting the original U.S. flag with 13 stars and stripes.

In honor of the July 4th holiday and our Americana heritage we present fun flag facts and a showcase of our jackets that feature this iconic American symbol. Happy 4th!
