Harper’s Bazaar featured our orange NASA flight suit in their August 2014 spread entitled ‘Launch into Fall: A Trip to the Moon.’ Take a look at the spread on the most fashionable looks for space travel, and find out how you can book your ticket to outer space. Did we mention the $250,000 price tag?
Always wished you could journey to outer space? You are not alone. For years we have read stories about celebrities who have reserved seats on different space flights in hopes of making it up to the great Milky Way. With Virgin Galactic’s successful test flight of its Space Ship Two earlier this year, the company predicts that commercial flights to space could start as early as 2015. With a price tag of $250,000 a ticket, names such as Justin Bieber, Leonard DiCaprio and Tom Hanks are said to be on the list of those who have already signed up.
OK, so now that we have the technical knowhow to get the average person into space, one question remains… what will you wear on your journey out of this world? The editors of Harper’s Bazaar gave their suggestions in the August 2014 edition. In addition to high-end fashions from Dolce and Gabbana, Prada and Gucci, they put the spotlight on our orange NASA flight suit. What better way to travel faster than the speed of light than in this comfy suit that looks much like the ones worn by NASA astronauts on their journeys. Complete with NASA and U.S. flag patches, it definitely makes a statement. Check out the ‘Launch into Fall: A Trip to the Moon’ spread in the magazine to see what we mean.
While the ticket price to outer space might be a bit out of your price range, our NASA flight suits, available in both blue and orange, are very affordable at $111. And don’t forget the kids too with our Youth NASA flight suit. Hey, if you can’t make it into space, at least you have this year’s Halloween costume taken care of.
