Inspired by Heroes

Our new fall collection includes fur-trimmed parkas, bombers, field coats and puffer jackets. We've explored new fabrics such as waxed cotton and sherpa-lined hoods, and played with a new color palette including rusty reds, deep earth tones and brushed matte metals. All of the new styles build upon our core jackets including the MA-1 pilot jacket, M-65 field coat, N-3B parka and A-2 leather jacket.

On October 17, we will celebrate our 55th anniversary. In honor of this milestone we have created a series of limited edition jackets including a special G-1 leather bomber, B-15 flight jacket and N-3B parka.

When thinking about our fall line our design team drew inspiration from The Battle of San Jacinto in 1836, the final conflict between the Mexicans and U.S. colonists who had settled in the Texas area. After this encounter Mexican President Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna surrendered to Sam Houston, the Commander-in-Chief of the Texas army. Texas went on to become Republic and was eventually annexed to the United States. This surrendering was captured in the painting "Surrender of Santa Anna" by William Henry Huddle. This painting influenced the new designs and color palette for the line.

We know you are going to love the new collection and find that it delivers the superior protection for which the Alpha brand is known.
